Individual lessons and group classes can be convened on your schedule. Gather a group of friends for an afternoon art party at your house. Take your coworkers on a very different kind of “team building” experience. Or, ask Katie Jo to visit your art or history classroom and bring the technique of sand painting directly to your students.

Classes can be tailored to any age or ability level and can accommodate up to 20 people. No prior knowledge or artistic ability is required. All tools and supplies will be provided. You’ll learn:

• basic line, dot, and texturing techniques
• how to make shading and 3-D effects
• breathing techniques for sand art and meditation
• as well as the history and philosophy that make this artform distinctive
